Love (A Haiku), 2024
100 x 130cm, Textiles
The poem expresses the cognitive dissonance that is paired with unconditional love. By coming to know it, we find ourselves confronted with the truth; that by bringing new life into the world, we are also ensuring death.
The bitter part is,
Knowing we all die someday.
How can I bear it ?
“Grief is the price we pay for love.”
